<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system capable of controlling outputs of photovoltaic power facilities or the like by detecting variations in the frequency of a system. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply system has: first distributed power supplies 1, 2 having no automatic frequency control functions connected to an independent power supply system 6; and a second distributed power supply 4 that is connected to the independent power supply system 6 via a bidirectional power transducer 21, discharges or charges a rechargeable battery 3, and has the automatic frequency control function.
