PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio signal separation method capable of performing downsizing, weight saving, reduction in delay in process and power consumption, in a radio communication device which performs radio communication by a MIMO system. SOLUTION: The order of signal detection is determined with respect to T pieces of elements in a signal vector s which is transmitted by a radio transmission apparatus. An extension propagation path matrix H' is calculated on the basis of a propagation path matrix H, a factorα, and a unit matrix I as rearranged according to an order list S, and a matrix H" is calculated. The matrix H" is subjected to QR resolution, and a unitary matrix Q and a triangular matrix R are calculated. Then a receiving vector x is filtered by using complex conjugate transpose of a row R of the matrix Q. T pieces of transmission signals are detected in sequence by using the triangular matrix R, are rearranged in the original transmitted spatial order according to the order list, and are output.
