<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll calculation system capable of prompting a driver to use an appropriate lane in a vehicle traffic on a road having a plurality of lanes each way. <P>SOLUTION: The toll calculation system for calculating a toll for a vehicle traffic on a road having a plurality of lanes each way comprises a use lane detection means for detecting the use status of the lanes in the vehicle traffic, and a toll calculation means for calculating the toll.
