PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic image development which is fixable at low temperature, excels in dispersibility/compatibility/inclusiveness of a crystalline resin and a release agent contained in the toner and has high strength, and an electrostatic image developer and an image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic image development contains a binder resin and a colorant, wherein group IA elements (excluding hydrogen) exist in a range of 0.03-1.0 atom% and group IIA elements, group IIIB elements and group IVB elements (excluding carbon) exist in a range of 0.05-2.0 atom% in total, as measured by XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis).
