PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage hopper, and a combination measuring and a packaging devices including the same, which is capable of suppressing the tailing of an article discharged from the storage hopper regardless of the properties and condition or the like of an article and capable of further increasing the speed of processing. SOLUTION: The storage hopper 3 which after temporarily stores the article supplied from an upper side and discharges it to a lower side, includes a holding member 64 of an article holding alternation mechanism 60 which alters a holding condition to the article in accordance with the mode of the article after the article has received inside the storage section.
