PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any irregular sound from being generated due to a contact between a plate member and a resilience adjustment plate. SOLUTION: A vehicle seat of this invention is so constituted that a plate 31 of monolithic plate shape made of synthetic resin capable of supporting the back part of a seat sitting person is attached to a back-rest frame 3 of a back-rest seat 2 in such a manner that it can be moved forward or backward through wire springs 32 with a resilience adjustment plate 40 of monolithic plate shape made of resilient synthetic resin arranged at the front surface of the plate 31 in such a manner that it can be moved forward or backward in respect to the plate 31, wherein the resilience adjustment plate 40 is constituted to enable a resilience force for pushing out the seat sitting person in a forward direction to be adjusted with a plurality of vertical protrusions 36 protruded forwardly to which predetermined portions of the resilience adjustment plate 40 abut arranged side by side in a lateral direction at predetermined locations in a front side of the plate 31.
