<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a store information management system that motivates customers to visit stores by significantly facilitating a registration for point membership in a plurality of stores and managing customers' visit information and point information for the plurality of stores on a computer basis. <P>SOLUTION: In the store information management system, printed matter such as leaflets or pamphlets provided by stores adopting a point system is used, and a two-dimensional code (including store ID) for membership registration printed on the printed matter is imaged by a photomail function of a portable communication device 3. A mail function program described in the two-dimensional code is then started to send a membership registration mail message to a store information management server 2.
