<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment generating three-dimensional images allowing an easy view of a puncture needle, and three-dimensional images facilitating to understand the spatial positional relationship between the puncture needle and a tissue. <P>SOLUTION: A transceiver section 3 allows an ultrasonic probe 2 to transmit ultrasonic waves of relatively high transmission frequency to acquire first volume data, and allows the ultrasonic probe 2 to transmit ultrasonic waves of relatively low transmission frequency to acquire second volume data. An image generation section 6 composes the first volume data and the second volume data to generate composed data and generates three-dimensional image data from the composed data, as for the first volume data, in compliance with image generation conditions fitted to the display of the tissue and, as for the second volume data, in compliance with image generation conditions fitted to the display of an electrode needle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
