<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission power control method which attains desired receiving quality preventing the increase in average transmitted power when a gain variation of propagation path of a comparatively short period occurs. <P>SOLUTION: Transmission power corresponding to the gain variation of propagation path is controlled so that communication channel capacity increases. Namely, the transmitted power is determined so that the sum of noise power (= receiving noise power/propagation path gain) converted into a transmitting end and the transmitted power becomes constant as shown in Fig.4. Accordingly, in a way contrary to the conventional one, the transmitted power is controlled to be decreased when the propagation path gain decreases, and to be increased when the propagation path gain increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
