<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the tire performance on the snow capable of evaluating the correct and stable tire performance on the snow through the year while precisely controlling the various measurement condition such as the snow quality. <P>SOLUTION: The measurement device comprises: a cylindrical drum, the rotational axial line of which is horizontally arranged; a means for forming a snow road in the internal periphery of the drum; a drum holding means for holding the drum rotatably; a tire holding means for supporting the testing tire rotatably around the center axis in horizontal direction while bringing the outer periphery of the testing tire into contact with the snow road surface of the drum with a necessary load; a rotation driving means for rotating the drum and/or the tire holding means; and a tire performance measurement means for the testing tire at the rotation time by the rotation driving means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
