PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost radio transmitter capable of putting transmission waves output from respective modulating units in phase with one another even when characteristics of electronic components constituting the respective modulating units vary with temperature. SOLUTION: The radio transmitter which puts together transmission waves output from transmission units 10a and 10b has a correction unit 20 which supplies reference signals 16a and 16b to the transmission units 10a and 10b. The correction unit 20 corrects the phase of the reference signal supplied to the transmission unit 10b to respectively correct the phase difference between output signals of voltage-controlled oscillators 13a and 13b and the phase difference between the transmission waves 18a and 18b generated as characteristics of the modulation units 11a and 11b vary.
