PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-remote controller for improving the ease of use for a user by smoothly shifting from an authentication operation to an ordinary operation without the need for changing how to hold the multi-remote controller. SOLUTION: The multi-remote controller A includes a communication function of executing the authentication operation of an opposite electric apparatus and the ordinary operation of controlling the opposite electric apparatus under an operation mode unique to the opposite electric apparatus and established via the authentication operation. A case 1 of the multi-remote controller A is separately designed into a flat box shaped case main body 2 and a head case 3, and the head case 3 is freely turnably coupled to a spindle 4 fitted to the case main body 2. A turning resistance providing means 5 capable of steplessly regulating an oriented direction of the head case 3 is interposed to a coupling part C between the head case 3 and the spindle 4.
