PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller to smoothly drive an internal combustion engine by preventing occurrence of a torque level difference in the internal combustion engine equipped with a supercharger. SOLUTION: The controller of the internal combustion engine 1A equipped with the supercharger 5 is provided with a torque control means 10A for adjusting the torque generated by controlling the internal combustion engine. The torque control means detects the supercharger starting complete timing when the supercharger is started, and prevents the torque level difference from the starting timing to the starting complete timing of the supercharger.
