PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generator which can effectively cope with thrust force produced by water flow and minimize friction loss in a bearing. SOLUTION: A hydraulic power generator 10 which is mounted at some midpoint of a water tube through which water flows so as to communicate between the water tube and its inside, is rotated by flow of water in the water tube, equipped with a propeller blade 41 surrounded by a cylindrical runner 42, a permanent magnet 44 provided to an outer periphery of the runner 42 and integrally rotated with the runner 42, and a stator 45 (451) provide along the permanent magnet 44. The runner 42 keeps upstream side end and downstream end in the flow of water rotatably radially supported by water lubricating bearings 61, 62, respectively. At least one water lubricating bearings 62 also functions as a thrust bearing of the runner 42 through supply of water to the downstream side surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
