PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an engine to become unable to make a low-temperature start due to fuel starvation at a sub tank in an engine control unit wherein, the engine is started by auxiliary fuel in a sub tank when the engine temperature is low, and after started, the operation is continued by main fuel (flex fuel) in a main tank. SOLUTION: If auxiliary fuel (gasoline) in a sub tank 6 is decreased by low-temperature start of an engine 2 and a fuel source switch 40 becomes on-state, an engine ECU 80 lights a fill light 86, urges a driver to refuel the auxiliary fuel, and suppresses the decrease of the auxiliary fuel by making an injection volume of the auxiliary fuel supplied to the engine 2 at the time of the low-temperature start thereafter less than that of the time when the fuel source switch 40 is off. Also, a lighting state of the fill light 86 and the injection volume of the auxiliary fuel during the time of the low-temperature start are changed in response to the number of times of the low-temperature start of the engine 2 when the fuel source switch 40 is in on-state.
