PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine in which product samples can be accurately and easily exchanged when replacing products in a product storage column. SOLUTION: The vending machine is provided with a price display part 24 for displaying the column number of a product storage column 30, and a control part 70 for displaying the column number of an arbitrary product storage column 30 on the price display part 24 and flickers a sold-out lamp 23b of a product selection switch 23 corresponding to the product storage column 30 when all products A are dispensed from the product storage column 30 when an outer door 20 is opened, so that the product storage column 30 can be easily associated with a product sample holding part 22. Then, a product sample B can be correctly exchanged, and a product A desired by a user can be surely sold on the basis of the product sample B. It is not necessary that the product storage column 30 is associated with the product sample holding part 22 while opening/closing the outer door 20, the product sample B can be exchanged in a short period of time.
