PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine powder removing apparatus which reduces the fiber diameter irregularity caused in obtained fibers when the fibers are subjected to melt spinning using a polymer increased in a degree of polymerization by the solid phase polymerization of a once pelletized polymer, and improves the deterioration of the process condition such as single yarn cutting or yarn fracture in a spinning process. SOLUTION: The fine powder removing apparatus of a pellet is equipped with: a pellet supply pipe 1 for supplying the pellets comprising a thermoplastic polymer after solid phase polymerization treatment; a baffle part 10b for permitting the supplied pellets to collide to disperse them; a fine powder separation pipe part 10e for allowing air to flow in a counter flow direction with respect to the supply direction of the pellets supplied in a dispersed state; and a classification member 10c for sucking the fine powder, which is separated from the pellets, on the upstream side without sucking the pellets by the air allowed to flow in the counter flow direction.
