DISCARD TRANSFER APPARATUS

Provided is a discard transfer apparatus for an extruding press, which is equipped with a chute below the die of the extruding press so that a discard freely falls while being guided by the chute. The transfer apparatus comprises a chute having an exhaust port substantially just below the die, a bucket arranged at the exhaust port for accepting the discard, and bucket moving means disposed through in a direction to intersect the axial direction of a machine base and made movable back and forth while bearing the reversing pin of the bucket. The transfer apparatus is characterized in that the bucket is turned and reversed when it moves to and is positioned at the forward end.
