An apparatus for measuring a gradient is provided to measure the gradient of a target region without being in contact with the region electrically directly. An apparatus for measuring a gradient includes a first collimator(120), a gradient indicator device(130), four divided prisms(140), a second collimator(150), a photodiode(160), and a gradient measuring device(100). The first collimator emits a light from a light source(110). The light emitted from the first collimator impinges on the gradient indicator device. The gradient indicator device includes a container member(131) filled with a main liquid(132), and a scum(133) changing the shape according to the gradient of portion to be measured at the state of floating on the main liquid. When the light emitted from the first collimator is inputted through the gradient indicator device, the divided prisms change a traveling path of the incident light.
