VEHICLE REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle remote control system which has more improved safety/security during remote control.

SOLUTION: The vehicle remote control system using a portable terminal to move a vehicle by remote control is provided with: a judging means for judging whether the portable terminal is located in a remote control target vehicle; a restricting means for restricting the actualization of remote control using the portable telephone to move the remote control target vehicle when the portable terminal is judged to be located in the remote control target vehicle; and an authenticating means which is provided in the remote control target vehicle and authenticates whether the operator of the portable terminal is a normal user. The authenticating means outputs predetermined information to the outside of the remote control target vehicle, and authenticates the operator of the portable terminal to be the normal user when predetermined operation corresponding to the output predetermined information is applied to the portable terminal.
