CAMERA MODULE AND OPTICAL FILTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the quality deterioration of an image to be output from a camera module by excluding the influence upon the image caused by a foreign substance produced from the cut section of an optical filter incorporated into the camera module.

SOLUTION: The camera module includes: a module structure composed of a lens unit 18 to which an imaging lens 16 is attached, and a package 14 to which an imaging device 12 is attached so as to face the imaging lens 16; and an optical filter 30 disposed between the imaging element 12 and the imaging lens 16. At least a part of a surrounding portion including the side face of the optical filter 30 is coated with a metallic film 40.
