<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor element hard to cause disconnection in the electrode of a detection element, a gas sensor using the same and a manufacturing method of the gas sensor element. <P>SOLUTION: The gas sensor element 10 is constituted by bonding a heater element 150 and a detection element 100 with a cement material 104. The cement material 104 is applied to the main surface of the insulating substrate 110 of the detection element 100 but a coating layer 85 is preformed on the main surface of the insulating substrate 110 so as to straddle the leading end 75 of the cement material 104. An electrode 130 is arranged on the back side of the insulating substrate 110 and the coating layer 85 is positioned on the lead part 132 of the electrode 130. The through-hole such as a pinhole or the like, which is present in the insulating substrate 110 at the region where the leading end 75 of the cement material 104 is positioned on the lead part 132, is filled by forming the coating layer 85. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
