PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can improve fun (playing potentialities) of games as themselves by highly diversifying a variation mode of variable display on an image display device. SOLUTION: After the start of the scroll display of decoration figures of multiple kinds on the image display device 2, a control is made to derive and display the result of the display while displaying an operable character 81. After the control of the display to make the character 81 conduct predetermined actions, the control is further made to variably display the decoration figures displayed being scrolled by making a switch over to the variation mode other than the scroll display.
