<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of suppressing mechanical stress generated in a contact when a plug is inserted in a socket. <P>SOLUTION: This connector 10 is equipped with a socket 21 having contacts 22, and a plug 11 having contacts 13. The plug 11 is equipped with flexible holding members 12 forming a pair of longitudinal members extending in parallel with each other and holding the respective columns of the contacts 13 disposed in two columns face to face with the contacts 21 of the socket. The contact 10 is equipped with a longitudinal lock member 14 having a width corresponding to the separation of the pair of flexible holding members 12, pressing the flexible holding members 12 so as to separate them from each other by being inserted between the pair of flexible holding members 12, and bringing the contacts 22 of the socket with the contacts 13 of the plug. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
