PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device capable of preventing FPN based on dispersion by the characteristics of an element for composing a CDS circuit without installing any capacitive elements for phase compensation for ensuring a phase margin. SOLUTION: Setting is made so that an initial voltage is applied to the connection node of capacitors C1, C2 by turning on a MOS transistor T10 and applying self-bias by a MOS transistor T11. A signal is amplified inversely by an inverting amplification circuit by the MOS transistor T11, and the capacitors C1, C2, are transferred to the gate of a MOS transistor T13 by turning on the MOS transistor T15. After that, a MOS transistor T14 is turned on, and the source voltage of the MOS transistor T13 is outputted as an image signal where noise is removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
