<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and easily carry out mounting work of fluorescent tubes to boards including an inverter circuit board without direct soldering work to a backlight device in an assembly process, in a backlight device. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 40 is provided for the inverter circuit board 30 or another board of this backlight device 1. The connector 40 is used for installing an electrode wire 11 extracted from the fluorescent tube 10 and the inverter circuit board 30 and the other board, and electrically connecting them to each other. The connector 40 has an electrode wire insertion part 41 for inserting a tip of the electrode wire 11 therein, and has a moving mechanism moving the electrode insertion part 41 with respect to a connector mounting position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
