<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for lithium secondary battery which is superior in rapid charging and discharging characteristics and cycle characteristics, or has small irreversible capacity at a first cycle and superior cycle characteristics, or has small irreversible capacity at the first cycle and superior rapid charging and discharging characteristics and cycle characteristics, and to provide a lithium secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The negative electrode for lithium secondary battery is comprises coating and integrating, on a current collector, a graphite paste which is made by adding and mixing an organic binder and solvent to graphite particles which are made by assembling and binding a plurality of flat-shape particles so that the orientation surface is unparallel having pores, when the cross-section of the particles is observed by a scanning type microscope photograph. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
