<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a malfunction of an inkjet printer is caused by use of a non-recommended ink cartridge, a user needs to ask repairing of the inkjet printer on a fare-paying basis. <P>SOLUTION: It is identified that a used ink cartridge of an inkjet printer having a malfunction is of a recommended ink cartridge. It is judged whether or not a contract of guarantee for non-payment repairing can be applied to the repairing of the inkjet printer. When the contract can be applied thereto, whether or not a recommended ink cartridge is to be purchased, is questioned. When the answer is positive, it is judged that the contract can be adopted to the malfunction of the inkjet printer, and then the repairing of the malfunction of the inkjet printer is accepted on a non-payment basis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
