<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple gravity separation type waste recovery apparatus capable of saving water, saving space, and preventing the increase of a waste recycle cost, and a gravity separation type waste recovery method. <P>SOLUTION: The gravity separation type waste recovery apparatus 10 is for filling water to a prescribed height lowered from the upper edge of a water tank 11, recovering suspended matters 13 from the vicinity of a water surface and removing a precipitate from the bottom part. The apparatus comprises: a cylindrical water transmission drum 15 which is provided with a scraping-up plate 16 in a whirl design shape and provided with a through-hole on the scraping-up plate 16; a curved surface part 19 where the tip of the scraping-up plate 16 can be circulated; a shelf part 20 at a peak part projected on the water surface; a flat surface part 21 extended in the water; a water transmission receiving guide 18 providing insertion holes to them; a precipitate carrying screw conveyor 22 at the bottom part of the water tank 11; and a precipitate discharge screw conveyor 24 connected to it, whose discharge port is higher than the water surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
