<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system which is capable of improving an instantaneous interruption suppression effect remarkably when handover is performed, small in thickness, simple in configuration, and improved in general-purpose properties; and to provide a handover method. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication address table 28 is referred by a sender's address monitoring function unit 25A on the basis of the sender's address transmitted from a wireless communication terminal, according to the judgement that judges whether the wireless communication terminal is located in its own network or moves in from the other network. When it is considered that the wireless communication terminal corresponds to the authentication address table 28; an encapsulated packet is transmitted to an alternate switching unit by a packet conversion functioning unit 25B, the encapsulated packet received from the alternate switching unit of the other network is released, and the wireless communication terminal is considered as a wireless communication terminal in its own network. When a wireless communication terminal is authenticated as an authentication target by an inquiry response functioning unit 25C, the wireless communication terminal is added as a new authentication target to an authentication address table 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
