PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve speed control of high stability effectively using both the map information of a navigation system and information to be acquired from any information other than the map information (for example, white line recognition by an imaging apparatus such as a camera). SOLUTION: A first target speed is calculated according to map information, and a second target speed is calculated according to a road shape to be acquired from any information other than the map information (for example, white line recognition results to be detected by a camera), and the first target speed is compared with the second target speed, and the lower target speed is selected, so that the speed of its own vehicle is controlled.
