<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous-sheet printing device and system for continuing a printing operation without stopping it in the middle of printing even when the generation of image data is not timely for the print timing of the image data. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous sheet-printing device judges, on the basis of a buffering state of an output buffer for buffering image data generated by an image processing part, whether or not the generation of image data to be used for printing is timely for a print timing based on the image data, and performs control so that a predetermined page count of skip pages is inserted between printed pages based on the image data when judging that the generation of the image data is not timely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
