PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Schmidt trigger circuit capable of reducing a useless current, widening a range for adjusting the hysteresis width of I/O characteristics, and changing the I/O characteristics. SOLUTION: The Schmidt trigger circuit 100 is provided with an inverter 2 for inverting input signal, and outputting the inverted signal; an inverter 3 for inverting the output signal from the inverter 2, and outputting the inverted signal; a control circuit 5 for generating an output signal, on the basis of the output signal of the inverter 3 and a control signal EN0; an impedance adjusting circuit 4a for adjusting the impedance between the output node of the inverter 2 and a power supply potential of a high potential side, on the basis of the input signal and the output signal of the control circuit 5; and an impedance adjusting circuit 4b for adjusting the impedance between the output node of the inverter 2 and a power supply potential of a low potential side, on the basis of the input signal and the output signal of the inverter 3.
