PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a burden on control associated with the improvement of an image quality and the speed-up of printing in a printer. SOLUTION: The printer has a head and a controller. The head is constituted to deliver a plurality of kinds of ink. The controller carries out control of printing. At that time, the controller selects a first printing mode of printing by delivering a plurality of the kinds of ink by a predetermined number of tones, and a second printing mode of using the other kinds of ink of a smaller number than a plurality of the kinds, and printing by delivering a specific ink in the other kinds of ink by a larger number of tones than the predetermined number.
