PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe a specimen of an experimental small animal or the like over a long period of time in a live state while preventing the leak of an anesthetic gas. SOLUTION: This somatoscopic apparatus 1 is equipped with a stage 2 loaded with the specimen A of the experimental small animal, the anesthetic case 3 arranged on the stage 2 and housing the specimen A and an anesthetic gas supply means 4 for supplying the anesthetic gas G into the anesthetic case 3.
