PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine engine with a device simpler and, lighter than a gearbox and driving an alternator so that the proportion of power taken from a high pressure section at low speed is not too great in comparison with the power taken from a low pressure section. SOLUTION: The twin-spool turbine engine comprises a low-pressure rotor 1, a high-pressure rotor 2 and the alternator 30, the alternator 30 comprises an inductor winding 32 and an armature 31, and the high-pressure rotor 2 rotates the inductor winding 32 of the alternator 30. The armature 31 is rotatably mounted, the low-pressure rotor 1 is connected to a clutch means 40 and the clutch means 40 is arranged so that the low-pressure rotor 1 drives the armature 31 in a manner that is contrarotational to the inductor winding 32 when the clutch means 40 are engaged. Therefore, the output of the alternator is taken out so as to be distributed between the LP roter and the HP rotor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
