PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a brush and a slip ring from failing in electric contact due to chemical gas or organic gas. SOLUTION: The contact relay unit is loaded on an OHT (overhead hoist transport) carriage used in a semiconductor manufacturing factory where there is fear of existence of chemical gas or organic gas. The contact relay unit is provided with an outer cover 11 forming a closed space. And, inside the closed space 7 formed by the outer cover 11, a slip ring 12, and a brush 15 so as to be in contact with the slip ring 12 are arranged. Then, the contact relay unit has a gas-absorbing material 16 absorbing the chemical gas or the organic gas arranged on an inner face of the outer cover 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
