PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of loading operation and eject operation for a disk type recording medium. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a base chassis 13 in which a spindle motor 14 rotating a disk table 15 is fixed and which can be moved to an almost axis direction of the spindle motor, a mechanical chassis 12 supporting the base chassis so as to move freely to the almost axis direction of the spindle motor, and a supporting member 55 which supports the disk type recording medium 100 inserted from the disk insertion opening 9a while being moved on the base chassis and the mechanical chassis. Further, the device is provided with a guide means 60 which guides the disk type recording medium inserted from the disk insertion opening while being separated from the base chassis during eject of the disk type recording medium.
