PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence microscope by which a living cell or the like can be accurately observed. SOLUTION: A microlens array plate is provided on a light source side and a confocal pinhole array plate is provided on an observation side via a dichroic mirror, and both array plates rotate synchronously through a connection part. A laser beam (P polarized light) is condensed by one microlens, transmitted through the dichroic mirror DM, passes through a pinhole at a condensing position and is radiated only to the limited area of a sample through an objective. Two-dimensional received light detection based on fluorescence measured by a set of the microlens and the pinhole is performed by a two-dimensional CCD solid imaging element. When the laser beam is radiated to the sample, the fluorescence is emitted from the sample containing fluorescent protein. By preparing two or more kinds of exciting wavelength for the sample, fluorescent observation in three different kinds of wavelength, for example, is simultaneously performed without switching the dichroic mirror DM.
