PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric for an airbag, which is a kind of automotive safeguard, is self-extinguishing in combustibleness, and has low gas permeability at a low cost. SOLUTION: The woven fabric for the airbag is a synthetic fiber woven fabric made, applied with at least one kind of a thermoplastic synthetic resin selected from the group consisting of a polyurethane-based resin, an acrylic resin, a polyester-based resin and a polyamide-based resin at least on one surface at an added amount of 0.1-15 g/m<SP>2</SP>expressed in terms of mass after being dried, has a gas permeability of≤0.10 L/cm<SP>2</SP>/min at 100 kPa differential pressure, and is self-extinguishing in the combustibility.
