A NOVEL STREPTOMYCES SP. VSV-12 KCTC 10936BP ACTIVE AGAINST PLANT FUNGAL PATHOGENS AND PREPARATION OF MICROBIAL PESTICIDE

A novel Streptomyces sp. VSV-12 is provided to be used for biologically and environment-friendly controlling gray mold, root rot and potato cultivars by showing antibacterial activity against plant fungal pathogens. A Streptomyces sp. VSV-12 active against plant fungal pathogens is deposited as a deposition no. KCTC 10936BP. A plant fungal pathogen controlling agent comprises a culture solution of the Streptomyces sp. VSV-12, wherein the pathogen is at least one selected from the group consisting of Botrytis cinerea, Cladosporium fulvum, Fusarium solani, Streptomyces scabiei, Pythium sp., and Phytophthora capsici.
