PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable disk alignment mechanism capable of preventing the mis-clamping of a disk and chucking erroneous operation. SOLUTION: In the chucking ring 11 having a body fitted into a hole formed at the center of the disk, the chucking ring includes a leading taper 20 provided at the front side of the outer circumference of the body at this side in a direction in which the disk is mounted and inclined at a first angle with respect to the direction of a disk mounting reference plane; a final taper 21 provided at the deeper side of the outer circumference of the body of the direction in which the disk is mounted and inclined at a second angle larger than the first angle with respect to the direction of the mounting reference plane; and an intermediate taper 22 provided between the leading taper 20 and the final taper 21 at the outer circumference of the body and inclined at a third angle between the first angle and the second angle with respect to the direction of the mounting reference plane.
