PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file transfer information setting device with easy setting of file transfer information and administration of authentication information of a server etc. SOLUTION: An image file forwarding setting part 30 acquires the authentication information out of a file transfer information table, and displays a list to a display element 40 as an connection information list, when a user newly sets up the file transfer information. Next, the user chooses a desired connection information out of this from an input section 42, and further, it inputs or chooses a folder 12 as a source and a hot folder 24 as a transfer destination from an input section 42. An image file forwarding setting part 30 associates these, and stores additionally at file transfer information table as a new file transfer information. Thus, a new file transfer information can be set up using the authentication information contained in the file transfer information already set up.
