BACKUP METHOD AND DEVICE OF AV CONTENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form back-up data of a target content stored in a network system. SOLUTION: The network system has at least three devices each of which has one memory. An auxiliary content is searched. The auxiliary content is stored in a device other than a device where the target content is stored. The auxiliary content has a data size equal to or greater than the data size of the target content. Exclusive OR operation is taken between bits of the target content and the auxiliary content, and parity data is generated as a result of the exclusive OR operation. The generated parity data is stored in a device which is other than the devices where the target content or the auxiliary content is stored.
