PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity universal joint which easily and inexpensively improves sealing performance and always exerts a stable operating performance. SOLUTION: A constant velocity universal joint 1 is equipped with a cup-like outside joint member 3 for accommodating a tripod member 4 taken as an inside joint member and a boot 2 for sealing grease filled thereinside. A large-diameter part 10 of the boot 2 is fastened and fixed to an opening end of the outside joint member 3 after being externally fitted thereto. The internal diameter of the boot 2 is filled with two types of greases having different consistency. The internal diameter of the large-diameter part 10 in the boot 2 is filled with a first grease having consistency smaller than a second grease 19 filled inside the outside joint member 3 has.
