PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor operated valve in which a rotation stopping member mounted to a stator is engaged with a pipe for introducing or discharging a refrigerant and stops rotation of a stator with respect to a can, and is easily mounted to the stator. SOLUTION: On a bottom wall plate 95, a projection part 97 is formed at a position vertically overlapping with a metal exposed portion of a stator main body 43. A gap 93 is formed between the projection part 97 and the metal exposed portion of the stator main body 43. A top wall 101 of the clip-like elastic rotation stopping member 100 is inserted into the gap 93. The rotation stopping member 100 is fixed to a yoke 51 of the stator main body 43 and the projection part 97 by elastic contact by spring pressure due to restoration force of the rotation stopping member 100 itself, and therefore, it does not come out of the gap 93.
