PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust recirculating device for an internal combustion engine for suppressing condensation water to flow into an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) pipe from an exhaust pipe at a joint section for jointing the EGR pipe and the exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: In the exhaust recirculating device for the internal combustion engine including: the exhaust pipe 4a of the internal combustion engine; and the EGR pipe 31a for incorporating the portion of the exhaust as EGR gas from the exhaust pipe 4a and for recirculating the EGR gas to an air inlet line of the internal combustion engine, and at a joint section 8 where the exhaust pipe 4a and the EGR pipe 31a are jointed, a step 9 for setting a position of a bottom of a jointed end of the EGR pipe 31a at a higher position than a position of a bottom of the exhaust pipe 4a is formed to be capable of suppressing condensation water to flow into the EGR pipe 31a from the exhaust pipe 4a.
