PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide composition excellent in electrical properties such as tracking resistance particularly useful for application to an electric component such as an electric/electronic component or an automobile electric component, mechanical strength, melt fluidity and mold releasability and excellent in a low gas emission. SOLUTION: The polyarylene sulfide composition comprises 20-50 wt.% polyarylene sulfide (a), 0.05-5 wt.% carnauba wax (b1) and/or carboxylic amide wax (b2), 20-70 wt.% magnesium hydroxide (c) and 10-60 wt.% fibrous filler (d).
