PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator entrance device and its attaching method, capable of easily constructing a smoke shielding structure around a landing door, while using an existing jamb, only by remodeling a part of a building wall for fixing the existing jamb constituting an entrance of an elevator. SOLUTION: This elevator entrance device has the jamb 4 having an upper frame 5 and a vertical frame 8 constituting the entrance 3, the landing door 9 opening and closing the entrance 3, and an upper smoke shielding structure 16 shielding smoke in a clearance between an upper part and the upper frame 5 of the landing door 9. The upper frame 5 also has a bottom part 7 and a side piece 6a, and is formed in a frame body opening in the upper part. The upper smoke shielding structure 16 has a smoke shielding member 17 extending its one end side in an installation space part 23 and fixing the other end side to the upper part of the landing door 9, a position adjusting plate 24 extending in the installation space part 23, and a height position adjusting means for adjusting the height of the position adjusting plate 24 so that the other end side of the smoke shielding member 17 is elastically brought into close contact with the position adjusting plate 24 when fully closing the landing door 9.
