摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper limit position stopping mechanism capable of accurately stopping a heavy article suspended through a sheave at an upper limit position. SOLUTION: The upper limit position stopping mechanism 30 stopping the heavy article 2 at the upper limit position comprises a top sheave 9 provided at a tip end of a boom 8 and to which wire rope 10 is guided, a winch 11 lifting/lowering the heavy article 2 by the wire rope 10, a rotating arm 34 capable of rotating about a rotation shaft 32 of the top sheave 9, a dog 38 fixed near a tip end of the wire rope 10 and capable of abutting on the rotating arm 34 when winding up the wire rope 10, and a limit switch 40 detecting rotations of the rotating arm 34.
